I had planned to be re-reading “Peace in the dark” this lenten season. But alas, I apparently failed to keep it out of my boxes of books that are in the storage unit from a recent move. I love that book. It spoke to me on so many levels. I have spent the past year in the dark, looking for the light as I recover from the greatest of betrayals. What would I do without Christ and his imperfect followers who have helped me keep from stumbling as I have traveled this rocky road? I often go in my mind to your lake cabin porch. It reminds me of the “still waters” where I have mentally met Jesus this year. I am glad you looked up in the cold and found the fern.
But as you said the resurrection redeems of pain and confusion. Love this post Jess.
Living in this week of contradictions is uncomfortable and messy
Yes! Ugh it’s so true.
