Thank you for joining in on the Three Day Make Room Workshop. This workshop asks the question how do we create space for others? Day Two Teaching has us looking at how we are creating comfort by being insular. As we do this we are making it more difficult to welcome others.
Begin the workshop with the teaching video-its only about 15 min and will give you the context you need to dive into the scripture and reflection questions below.

Make Room: The Silos Scripture & Study Questions
Use these questions to study the scripture and contemplate your answers. Grab a journal, spend time with God as you reflect on the scripture and study questions below.
Luke 12:16 Then he told them a parable: “A rich man’s land was very productive. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What should I do, since I don’t have anywhere to store my crops? 18 I will do this,’ he said. ‘I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones and store all my grain and my goods there. 19 Then I’ll say to myself, “You have many goods stored up for many years. Take it easy; eat, drink, and enjoy yourself.”’ 20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life is demanded of you. And the things you have prepared—whose will they be?’ 21 “That’s how it is with the one who stores up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.”
Have you created any silos?
Consider why we find comfort in the storing up of like mindedness?
In what ways can you tear down your silos and how will that show others that you are ran open space?
When we remember where are treasure is how does that change our behavior?
Does that help eliminate the need for comfort we find in our silos?
